DR. NICOLE LESKOVEC PT, DPT

Dr. Nicole Leskovec PT, DPT is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Cleveland State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Prior to her training at Cleveland State, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine Biology with a minor in Psychology from Kent State University. Prior to attending college, Nicole had her own personal experience with receiving physical therapy treatment, which allowed her to return to her high school sport of volleyball pain-free. It was at this time, and through her training in school, that she developed a love and passion for outpatient physical therapy.

Nicole has had the opportunity to work in a private practice clinic for the past 3 years, where she has developed skills and experience in treating patients of all types from middle school and high school athletes, to all those overworked weekend warriors, and older adults looking to stay active and pain-free. She utilizes multiple treatment methods including manual therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, as well as therapeutic exercise, and education on movement and functional training. Nicole plans to further her training by becoming dry needling certified, as well as becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist in order to further assist her patients in returning to the activities they love. She firmly believes in working together with her patients to ensure they get the most out of their plan of care in order to meet their goals!

In her free time, Nicole enjoys working out, exploring new restaurants, and attending social events, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be apart of Saylor!

Saylor Physical Therapy | Cornelius | Clair WIllis

Dr. Claire Willis PT, DPT

Dr. Claire Willis PT, DPT was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She developed a passion for physical therapy early on in high school where she was able to take athletic training classes as an elective. She played soccer all through high school but was unable to play in college due to an ankle injury which further drew her into the world of physical therapy. She moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from McNeese State University. To obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Claire moved to North Carolina to attend Wingate University.

Throughout her clinical rotations, she has gained experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including rotator cuff tendinitis and repairs, hip osteoarthritis, and balance training for the geriatric population. Claire plans to further her training by becoming certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and participating in continuing education for manual therapy techniques. She is thrilled to be a part of Saylor PT where she can treat patients 1-on-1 in their journey to recovery.

In her free time, Claire enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband. Claire and her husband are excited to welcome their first child in May 2023!

Tyler Naylor LPTA, PTA

Tyler Naylor LPTA, PTA

Tyler Naylor LPTA, PTA is the newest addition to Saylor PT. She is originally from Delaware, but has lived in Charlotte for almost 10 years. Her favorite body part to treat is the knee and her favorite muscle (yes, she has a favorite) is the Rectus Femoris because it helps move two joints! She loves to see the difference that physical therapy and education can make for her patients. She is a certified Pwr! 4 Life Therapist and she previously taught a small class for balance and Parkinson-specific individuals. She is currently in the process of setting one up with Saylor as well! Outpatient Physical Therapy is where she loves to be!

She and her husband I have two dogs, MacGyver and Lilly, and a 19 mo daughter, Evelyn. She is very active and is always keeping them on their toes! Taylor loves to be outside hiking, camping with her friends, reading a good book, lounging at the pool or ocean, or at a playground with her daughter. She is a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan (yes, even after their latest playoff game) and in the last two years she won and came in second place, respectively, in her fantasy football league.

Saylor Physical Therapy - Huntersville Kristen Barbee

Kristen Barbee

Kristen Barbee is a married mom of two children. She and her husband are both native North Carolinians who relocated to the Charlotte area just in time for their second child to be born. Kristen has a degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill but has found that working in administration in the medical field is more her speed. She has had several administration positions in
different medical offices through the years. Most recently, she has been a stay-at-home mom to her two children. She decided to come back to the workforce and join the Saylor family when her therapist, Amber, mentioned an opportunity. Kristen has been a patient of Amber’s at Saylor Physical Therapy for several years. She has become a huge proponent of physical therapy in general, and Saylor PT specifically. Kristen is happy to know that she has helped others improve their quality of life.

Kristen spends much of her free time as a Cub Scout leader, as well as a leader for a Scouts BSA Girls Troop. She enjoys hiking, camping, and anything that takes her and her family outdoors.

Schedule an appointment and we look forward to providing you with quality, individual, one-on-one care for one full hour.

“After dislocating my knee, tearing multiple ligaments, and fracturing my Tibia playing tackle football, it seemed like everyone told me my career as an athlete was over. Eight months and 2 surgeries later, not only do I have full flexion in my knee, I am also back in my cleats on the field. I owe it all to the staff at Saylor Physical Therapy. Many Thanks!!!! ”

Hileia F. - Palm Beach Gardens

“I came to Saylor Physical Therapy with shoulder pain and lack of mobility in my left shoulder. I was taking medication for relief. After eight sessions I was no longer in pain and had increased my range of motion. Not only was the pain gone but I had exercises that I could continue on my own. When I started working with the therapist my goal was to no longer need medication for my pain and that goal was reached.”

Judy A. - Lake Mary

“I have really enjoyed my experience here at Saylor PT. Everyone was so nice to me from the first day I walked in. Eric Ford is a great person. He knows his stuff. I have come a long ways. I couldn’t even lift my arm when I first came. Thanks to Eric I can lift it over my head. I have all my motion now. I am so thankful that I came here. I will miss everyone.”
